Hi Guys,

Im thinking of buying a fluke 1652 mft but not sure if it will do everything I need it to for testing ie does it have a non trip loop impedance function, will it do insulation resistance at 500v and will it do rcd trip times etc? and whats the difference between the 1652, 1652B and 1652C??

thanks

My 1652B does most things, certainly eveything I want, and thinkthe only significant thing added in the 'C' is phase rotation (hich I don't need). I think the 1652 does appreciably less than the 'B', but am not sure what.

Kind Regards, John

John Just interested what kid of electrical work do you use it for mainly?
Just 'the obvious', really (what else would one use an MFT for? - I have plenty of other bits of measurement kit for use 'on the bench'). What question are you actually asking?

Kind Regards, John
