Fluorescents

I've got 2 single 4ft fluorescents that I want to run from a single gang switch. Can I run them in series?

I don't quite understand what you are asking, providing they are mains voltage they would need to be connected in parallel, i.e. connect the LNE from one fluoro directly to the LNE on the other fluoro.
