Hi there ,
i have a toilet flush button and the long unit which the button presses down onto underneath the lid seems to be letting out water at the base of it,so therefore the systern fills up as it automatically does when flushed.

Does the long thingy need sealing at the bottom as when it moves thats when the water seeps through.

Its clicked in ok but you can here the dripping.

Any ideas?
Thanks Lloyd

if its a new install check the button is adjusted correct and not pushing the flush valve.

if its an old install and just started doing it then the flush valve rubber seal at the bottom is passing water.
remove the flush valve and check the rubber at the bottom maybe scale or the rubbers gone out of shape.
they can be replaced.

Cheers for that Seco,as it goes it was put in a few years back but after a short while it started to let water so maybe its a dodgy one anyway.I'll probably renew it
thanks Lloyd
