I have just removed a radiator to decorate and the water that came out was jet black. My CH system is run from a back boiler and is approximately 9 years old. There are 7 seven radiators and a convector heater all running off the same system. I recently had a new valve fitted by the waterboard and they said that the whole system needed flushing and it would cost about £500.
Is there a less expensive way that I can do it myself?
