The thread is about whether it feels fair for him to be convicted of sexual assault and if it's reasonable to feel sorry for him. We know under Spanish law he has been found guilty and nobody here can be bothered to try to understand their judicial system. So therefore the following question...

This thread is (was) about whether the OP was "wrong to feel sorry for Rubiales(sic?)"

That is a matter for the OP's own conscience / morality but, FWIW, I don't feel sorry for Rubiales.
