hi i have taken on an already started project and am concerned that the footings my not be suitable. Digging them out is not an option theu are approx 24 2 wide by 12 -18 deep placed every 9ft approx is a 6x 6 post which in turn supports 7 x 5 rsj so there is a support every 9ft in any direction any advice ??

What's up with the existing footings? Why isn't digging them out an option? What do you want the new footings to do? What are the beams/posts supporting?
