Hi,
We're thinking of having an extension built where the wall would run close to the boundary. At the boundary there is a retaining wall made up of concrete blocks laid sideways. Our neighbours garden sits about a metre above ours. What methods might the builder use to prevent the wall and our neighbours garden sliding into any footings that are dug.

Thanks

How high is the retaining wall. Small sheet piles would probably satisfy most situations.
