Forced Gas Furnace Is Loud

This may have been discussed before. If so I apologize.

I have a 2 year old gas forced air furnace in the basement. I can hear it when I am on the main floor such as kitchen and living room, etc. Is this normal or is it too loud?

THis is a UK based forum but if your Furnace (warm air heater) has a "Blown Gas Burner" then these are notoriously noisy, far noisier than their relation the "Pressure Jet " oil burner
