Ford Fiesta Finesse . Not tarting up. Lost power

Dear Readers,

I have 1998 ford fiesta finesse. Today while driving the car start loosing power i was pressing accelerator but it was not going over 20 milles. and slowly speed comes down and i had to park the car. I checked the engion and there was a smell from the plugs. Then i tried starting the car few times and it does start but does not run and after few tries now when i start the car it start for a second and then stop straight away.

Sounds like you have burnt the clutch out, I have never heard of spark plugs smelling before.
