We forgot to put the feed in for extravtor.

I don't fancy removing the tile. If I get a hole drill fir cable behind where ectravtor is going to go. Is thete any tool that could drill wall amd through side of back box to get cable in without breaking the tile ?

Image of where cable needs to go

You might be able to buy a flexible drill attachment to slowly drill through the plaster behind the tile but it will probably cost more than a tile to buy.

From above and below, who knows. Thought the Extractor Hood would go virtually over the top tiles anyway?

I have spare tile but only 1 left. Tiler wreckons there's a chance could break other tiles around it

Where is the hole for the ducting to vent the fan outside going to go? Are you going to have a chimney with your fan? What are the cables that are in the back box in the pic. for?

An extra long multi tool blade could cut all the top adhesive & short one for grout - I know you can get them at least 60mm which would go some way into removing one without a breakage.

Not sure how you will be able to it. You could use a very long SDS drill bit to drill down from above but is there enough ceiling clearance for the drill bit plus the length of the SDS drill?

It looks like a solid wall. Even if you manage to drill down at the correct angle and succeed in hitting the correct point in the metal back box how will you breakout the metal hole and if you do manage to go that, how will you fit the rubber grommet?

Sorry, I hope you manage to get it sorted.

How long have the tiles been up? The adhesive, assuming that it is cement based takes a while to set fully.

It's a internal duct on extractor ( filter)

Bathroom above with sink fitted directly above. And correct its a solid wall.

I could get the side piece of the metal back box easy as is From going inside the back box

I would have to leave the grommet off unfortunately if did manage it

It does but not the fuse spur. Its not end of world. As I can still wire it. But would see about 2 inch of cable. But wanted it more tidy.
