Hi everyone :)
i guess this question and answer are here somewhere but i can't find
i want to build some built ln wardrobes in my spare room. but not sure what wood to use for the frames that attach to the wall. This room is quite hot. as it has a boiler in a little cupboard next to where i want to build thewardrobe . what type of wood do i up. (pine, treated, untreated, soft or hard wood) as for shelf and doors iti not decided on them yet.:)

Any help would be great.
David

MDF is good starting point two sides same size top and bottom same size fitted inside bottom one 4"up forming a plinth that gives you a starting piont then frames and doors go on the front of that PART ONE

Hi, i was more thinking about thin strips of wood as the frame. the sides and doors i will place later. plus i feel mdf is far to heavy. a skeleton frame is more what i had in mind. just not sure what wood to use.

Frame is pointless all you need is mdf, far easier to scribe to uneven floors and walls.Mdf too heavy for what exactly?

Mdf seems to be the answer. i guess that's for me. i never realized it could be that easy. thanks for all ur help :D
