The general secretary of the nurses union has recommended free heroin for addicts, and safe 'shooting galleries' so junkies can get their fix.

This is something that I have been suggesting for years. Would halve crime overnight, and mean that kids won't be at risk from needles left in parks, etc, etc.

its a good idea. i think they started this in Portugal recently and officials from all over the world have been looking at how they get on. It will undoubtedly reduce crime and keep drug users out of harms way.
