I'm looking to move house at the moment and one of the houses that we've seen has a conservatory at the back, which the owners say they put up themselves (he is a builder) but it doesn't have any footings. I think she told me it sits in a metal cage?
It has a drawf wall round 3 sides with double glazed UPVC windows and door. Plus a roof that looks like corrugated plastic rather than glass.
I've not heard of these conservatories before and was wondering what other people knew about them. Are they sound? Can they damage the main house?
