Just wondered why I get different channels on different freeview receivers.
On tv have bbc channel at 7 and 9 no channel 8, but on another set get channel 8 , 'create and craft' [though not running].Channel refresh makes no difference to either channel list.

Are you connecting these to the same aerial point?
What are the makes and model numbers?
How old are they?
What's your postcode?

One aerial feeds all, samsung tv, toshiba tv, unknown make of freeview box all purchased within last 18months.
In DA5 postcode.

same aerial point? Do you mean socket? one in kitchen, one lounge, one in tv room.
Kitchen and lounge from one point [off amplified socket] and lounge on it's own point all connected to same aerial on roof via splitter at roof level.

You are telling us that one piece of Freeview equipment is missing channels at connection point "A". So the logical test is to connect it to an aerial point "B" where there are definitely no missing channels.

If the channels are then still missing on it at point "B", the equipment is at fault. Otherwise the connection point "A" is at fault.

Once you've narrowed down the possibilities, it becomes easier to determine the solution. This logical test method is way better than simply asking people to guess.

Missing channels are in new tv's , one of which is connected to same source as freeview box which receives the missing channel. To confuse things a little further freeview box does not receive all the channels the tv's receives.

I didn't understand that reply.
Please connect each piece of Freeview equipment, one at a time, to point "B" and report back.
