Hi,

I’ve got a candy csc1745we fridge freezer which is in my garage.

As we’ve had a couple of cold days it’s seems the freezer isn’t working!

I do know why and I do understand that the compressor operates to run the fridge and if there’s a cold ambient then the fridge doesn’t require cooling hence the freezer stops as there is only one compressor.

There must be a retro fit option or someone has done/tried something that has worked?????

Any help anyone??? Please???

Thanks for that.

Not sure if this will work but I were thinking about fitting a small strip heater near the compressor and boxing it in, this will be set on a stat to work between 8 and 15 degrees C. Then I will install a bulb inside the fridge compartment on a septerate feed to generate some heat in there and hopefully making the compressor kick in.

Do you think this will work?
