fridge freezes high temp (hotpiont FFA61)

I have a Hotpoint FFA61 fridge freezer, the freezer is at the bottom and is running high temp, I have a little knowledge of commercial fridges and freezer. There is a clear air space at the back of the appliance (I think its may be low on gas, hope someone give me some info to sort it.)
So I can get the wife off my back….

Sounds like gas or a system blockage. Nothing you can do apart from phoning hotpoint. Parts and labour will £100.00.

is the freezer a frost free? Might be iced-up ducts.
