I have a Hotpoint future fridge rlm30 and its freezing rather than keeping food cold. the dial is on the lowest and i have defrosted it, we have also checked to see if it is blocked but it's not. any ideas

If the thermostat is on it's warmest setting, for example, No1, then the thermostat is faulty and requires replacement. The thermostats are quite cheap and they can normally be changed in less than 1 hour by a refrigeration engineer.
