Hi,
I have a hotpoint ffm81 fridge/freezer which has been fine for years. Recently I have noticed water under the salad trays which has dripped from the back of the fridge. I have never had any ice problems but would usually have a few drops of ice on the back....these are now water. I have changed the setting so that the fridge is colder which has doen little to nothing. I would guess the thermostat is on it's way out but as I am not a refrideration engineer I thought I'd post here before I start guessing too much
Thanks in advance
Iain

Just clean the drain hole out at the back of the fridge.

Ok, so I get how that will get rid of the water but not why the fridge isn't cold enough?
Thanks

Stick a long cable tie or metal coat hanger down the hole and the water will dissapear. Then mop the bottom out with a towel. As for not getting cold have you done a total defrost in it
