fridge not working - attached freezer does !! MTRF222 model

hello - and hello from me!
no i'm not schizo , this is my first post on the site!!

george in crawley - fridge freezer thingy works fine in the
freezer section, but now the fridge part does not come on.
fridge light does come on..

i see the circuit diagram at the back, but do not know where the parts can be physically located.
anybody got any advice?!

You may well find that the fridge thermostat has gone. Do you have separate temperature control knobs for fridge and freezer?
I am a satisfied customer of www.fridgeshop.net which is a chap down in Cornwall who seems to know what he's talking about and supplied me with my fix - a new thermostat about £20 (although I've no other connection to him).

best honest advice i ever had from an engineer.

fridge not working, but freezer working..
one compressor for the whole machine,
so the verdict is that the mc is losing refrigerant gas which is a CFC.

the hot compressor temp proves this verdict too.

needs a certified engineer to find leak then regas it - estimate £100.

action - get rid of it and buy cheapo 2nd hand replacement.
