hello could anyone explain why my driver side door central locking has stopped working it is always locked i have to get in the other side with all that sometimes the car well the door that works when i put the key in to lock it it locks then opens again i have to keep it unlocked at times i can't open the drivers door at all!! its a ford focus 1.4 (02) many thanks

1st look in the rubber boot that goes from car to door,the wires in here are pulled tight and fray.
