From USB to laptop

Hi Guys

I really need some help here. I need to copy my canon zoombrowser onto my laptop.

I called canon this morning he said I could do it with a memory stick.

So I inserted the memory stick and copied the programme onto it and then tried to copy onto my new laptop, using the short cut option which came up on my screen, but it says path not found.

I can't guarantee that.

What is it that you are trying to move on the memory stick, the original installation files or just the shortcut to start the application. The latter won't work unfortunately. If you have the original installation files on your source, you can copy them to your stick and install them directly from that onto your laptop.

I'm assuming you have lost/don't have the original software for your camera and Canon won't let you have another copy?
