HI
Having not replaced a front door before I have done my research and I have conflicting advice about measuring a door
I can measure the frame 3 times horizontally and vertically then take diagonal measurements. Then other advice tells me to measure the hole the door is in.
and then what do I do about the doorsill beneath the door frame?
What measurements do I need to get a door to fit my hole!
I am nervous in purchasing a door without knowing what to measure.
Advice to a door fitting noobie greatly appreciated!
:D

Hi
I believe you are replacing a door inc the frame.
You need to measure the wall to wall beside the frame and then add on aprox 20mm( depend on type of a hinges).
About a cill, needs to be below the floor level( it depend of door type).
Measure the hight from the top of the existing frame to the floor and that must be your new frame hight, then you can add on a cill
