Front indicator lamp/lens colour?, mine are clear.

A condition report on the invoice, after a repair to the engine by the mechanic - front indicators are "white", I think he means that they are clear, which they both are.
Should they be coloured amber as the rear ones? - N registration 1996 model. if so, I have the choice of the cheaper coloured lamps, or lenses.
Anyone know the requirements for the MOT?

Your indicators may well have clear or 'white' glass - but in this case they must have a proper 21w yellow bulb fitted.
If the lens is naturally yellow, then a normal 21w bulb is used.

the orange tint on the bulbs "wears off". get down to a motor factors and be prepared to be amazed by what they charge for a bulb with some orange stuff on it.

as long as they flash amber then the bulbs and lenses dont have to be any particular colour.

(have clear lenses and crome bulbs)

Hope its not for a Merc. £12 for a side mirror bulb I nearly choked.
