Front Roadwheel bolt hole thread problem

I've done countless wheel changes, but for the 1st. Time i've crossed and stripped off some thread. I examined the bolt hole carefully and found a shaving at the start of the thread, about 8mm long and about 0.4mm thick which broke away with my little finger from the bolt hole thread. Is this trivial damage to the thread on the hub or can there be more under lying damage? I've mended the bolt thread through careful filing but obviously more concerned about the bolt hole thread on the front wheel hub.

If there is only damage to the first start of the thread, and the flange has a good thickness, I would not worry, one bolt hole out of four or five, is only taking a percentage of the load.
