Frost Damage/Spalling To Exterior Front Brick Wall

My front garden brick wall has suffered some spalling over this last harsh winter. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the best way to stop this from continuing was to use a breathable silicone water repellent so that any moisture in the bricks can escape but no more can get in.

My question is, what product should I buy? I've been looking around online but am struggling to find one that fits the bill - any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks,
Rob.

I'm not a big fan of sealing brickwork, but use a siloxane one if you have to,as this is breathable.
