frost stat

I want to fit a frost stat on my boiler.The IDEAL ICOS boiler is situated in the garage and the LIFE STYLE LP 522 programmer is situated in the airing cupboard in the house. I know that it needs a wire to the frost stat but not clear on the connections (There is a 7core cable from the programmer to the boiler I think there is only 3 cores used )
