Our boiler is in the loft and has a frost thermostat fitted, but when it comes on, it is on full blast and the radiators are boiling hot ! Is it possible to set the temperature for the radiators lower on the frost stat, so they are not so hot?

ps - you may have guessed I am not a plumber or heating engineer :)

Pipestat

Or to expand on what Steve has already said... If you fit a pipe thermostat to the return pipe near to the boiler and wire it in series with the frost stat, the once the return pipe starts to warm the boiler will switch off so your radiators will be tepid and not roasting hot...
