Full skim or just fill and smooth?

Hi,

So stripped back this wall, 5 layers later including woodchip. Loads of raw plugs removed.

Should I skim coat it or just fill and smooth?

if you can do a decent skim yourself then fine, but if it was me I’d fill it.

Needs total skim of some kind.

Fill holes first.
Ready mixed wall smoother or plaster skim
