Just a quickie to you tehnicals out there...

Boiler not working,...so follow fault findng chart.

Transformer states 24v across the 'in' and 6 volts out. Measured and 4.9 vaults 'out'.

Phone g/worm tech and the transformer is a top up from pcb which throws 18v to solenoid, whick is topped up by the 6v from the transformer.

Where does the 18v to power solenoid come from?

Whee does power from pcb come from?

Well, I worked it out and fixed it.

One to remember for all you fault finding guys out there.

Never knew a swiftflow worked in such a wierd and complicated way, but were are always learning.

Would love to have Agile's detailed knowledge of electronics, which is invaluable on jobs like these.
