Hi guys, I'm looking for a new light fitting for my new kitchen, the room itself unfortunately has very mimimal natural light so I'm looking for a light that's going to offer a nice bright light for the room
I've seen a bar spotlight with 4 fittings that take a max of 40w halogen G9 lamps.. According to the reviews it is like a floodlight in the room and really bright..

But a few people have said that g9 bulbs don't last 5 minutes so I'm a bit reluctant..
For a little more I can get an LED light fitting with 4 LED warm white lights at 4w per light

What I'm wondering is if anyone with experience of the LED lights know how good or poor the overall light is that they give off?
I appreciate the obvious cost difference but I want to find a happy medium between cost and actual performance..
Hope this is the right forum, thanks a lot in advance for any replies
