Gainsborough Energy 2000 Electric shower.

I have the above electric shower. Yesterday it tripped out the mains. I reset the switch and everything was fine the rest of the day.

This morning, the shower works but on a setting of 3 which we normally use the water is barely luke warm although the flow is ok. If I turn it up I can get a bit of heat but of course the flow is then very limited.

Is this likely to be a problem with the heat exchanger and will I be able to get a replacement and fit it easily?

Ok thanks. Does that mean I need an element or a new heat exchanger and will I need someone who is professionally qualified to carry out the work?
