Hi, I've been having some problems with an old Honeywell Galaxy 2. When I opened up the case in addition to the 2-20 PCB I found a small Pyronix PCB (RPCB216) - see photos - does anyone know what this is? Thanks

Has it got some type of card reader or access control attached to the system ?

Did you not try to google it ?

Thanks, that explains it, I don't use the prox reader. I tried searching but not with Google.
One of the problems is with a door (reed switch) sensor that seems to stick open on occasions, have you ever come across that?

the prox reader was fitted to switch off the alarm with a fob as you were not allowed to switch off with a number if you alarm was connected to the police. the prox reader is now built into the keypad.
