looking for information on Galaxy Dimension (GD-48 / GD-96) compatible wireless smoke detectors. I'm using 7.02 firmware on both panels and C079-2 RF RIOs with Alpha protocol.
DF8S is compatible per Honeywell literature, but are there other compatible versions? DF8S is somewhat expensive, while Honeywell 5808W3 looks exactly same and it's much cheaper. However, compatiblity information is hard to find, I haven't been able to find information about its frequencies or protocol.
And very general question, what exactly means if device is Honeywell / Ademco 5800-compatible? Does GD-48/96/264/520-serie support 5800-compatible sensors and output devices?
