Galaxy flex 20 key fobs

Hi all I've got a flex 20 installed 12 months ago took me 3 months to iron most of the problems out but now sorted with a little help from the galaxy guy. I've just got a key fob and I'm trying to activate it l get as far as pressing the 1 and A together and it says its not available as anyone got any suggestions

Is it a definitely a prox reader CP038 / CP051 and not a CP037 / CP050 ?

Yes it's a CP038 it beeps when I present the fob

Okay, so a beep means the max reader is set up on the bus. Was this a new non ADT panel and did you start from a clean set of defaults?
