Hi I have just installed a wetroom screen from a good supplier.
I noticed when installing the glass screen bracket against the wall there is a 1mm gap ( I haven't put the screw covers on yet.
This is due to the yellow Rawl plug provided having a slight ridge so therefore sitting slightly proud to the wall and making the gap.
I am conscious there could be water ingress behind this? but unsure if the pressure between the bracket and Rawl plug could also seal the hole?
The manufacturer has intentionally supplied these Rawl plugs. The instructions do not comment on siliconing the bracket.
Would be good on your thoughts whether to silicone around the brackets or leave. ?
