Gap between coving joints

Where two bits of coving meet there is a slight gap what would be the best product to use to make the gap look flat
The bloke a bandq advices silicone but wouldn't that peel off if painted

Just use a lightweight filler

I have a bag of easy fill left over

Easi fill will do the job. If its a deep gap then just fill it in two stages. If its wide then you could always use a bit of mesh tape as well. Oh and go back to b&q and tell him he's a knobber lol
