i have recently had parquet flooring refitted due to flooding and gaps in the blocks have started to appearit has been down 6 months and the firm sent by the insurance company have said they will fill the gaps with wood filler, could you please tell me if this is the correct way to solve the problem or if there is another way of doing it, thankyou

How long after the flood was your floor installed? Did they check for moist before starting the installation?

If there still was moist around that has been absorbed by the wood blocks this will now have dried up and therefore shrank your blocks.
