Hi all. Moved into a house last year and was after some advice re insulation. The owner before us had the garage knocked down and replaced with a downstairs office (plus small loft space above) but after a particularly cold winter, it seems that it may have been a cheap 'no insulation' job. Any ideas how one would go about insulating a space like this? The conversion is plasterboard walls (although really struggled to locate any beams behind) whereas the main house is solid brick.
Thanks in advance if anyone has any tips! Was told by a tradesman previously that it's a nightmare post-build. What level of nightmare are we talking..?
