ive started converting my garage into a bedroom for my neice ,the house is a town house with intergrated garage , so ive built a mezzanine floor about 9 foot high as the room is very high and thats wot she wanted as all women thats wot she gets lol, now ive been looking at staircases but we all agree that there too big ,expensive and not that trendy for a seventeen year old so i have seen some shelves in ikea the ones where you fix the metal bar then the shelf slides over in so doing shows no support so question is can i do the same design but for steps so it looks as if they jut out from the wall , have you seen where i casn buy them or how too make them thanx for reading this
