We have an attached garage with a side entrance to it from our hall way. The internal door between the house and garage is just a standard 30mm thin veneered/vented door and also has a cat flap. Needless to say we're getting a bit of a draught and having recently spent a small fortune on new windows, doors, wall & loft insulation I am now looking to insulate the garage. The garage door is a up and over type and has a steel cable operated handle that runs across the back of the door. There's an approx. 1 inch gap on all sides of the door. What do people use to insulate and draught proof garage doors.

Very difficult to apply any useful draught proofing to garage door, better to ensure tight fit of door to garage or add a heavy curtain across, cat will be able to cope with that.
