Hi all, just a quick one. I've started to insulate the metal garage door, which is part of the house. I've used Jablite Premium, was maybe going to add a layer of superfoil, then a gap, then some 5mm ply covering everything (which i need to double check is fire retardant but I'm fairly certain it is).

My question is, is this safe in regards fire and house insurance etc?

Don't know about insurance. but my garage door is already insulated from factory with air seals between the joints the corners of the frame are still very leaky.
You can try fitting in some toggle clamps on the corners/centres of the door to ensure it is firmly pressed against the wall.
