Garage Felt shingles leaking / mould on inside

I will carefully take up the shingles in this area and remove dodgy felt or nail / stick it back down if that sounds reasonable.

That Sika roof and gutter sealant will do for small cracks and gaps, but for bedding felt back onto OSB a proper felt adhesive or bitumen mastic will do a far better job. The tube stuff skins over before it can grip a big area, so you can end up with the edges lifting again next summer. Bed it flat in warm dry weather, get it fully bonded and weighted down, and water will have nowhere to get in. Good plan checking from inside during rain too, that is the fastest way to prove you got it.

Yeh any repair I will stick down with the tub of felt adhesive the tube was for sticking the shingles back down.

Managed to add some 6 inch grills in the gables to add some ventilation.

The good news is I drilled a hole between the two garages so I could see in that one’s roof space (that garage has a ceiling with no access) and the newer side which had moss on doesn’t seem to have any issues at all. Will still get rid of it.

Will get up on the roof soon and start lifting / sealing shingle edges.

For killing the existing yellow mould is there a preferred chemical to do this?
