Garage Floor Replacement

I need to replace the floor in my garage due to various defects, cracking etc.

The old infill will probably be shale which will need to be removed, how thick does the base and concrete ideally need to be.

It's a 5/4.5m detached garage so don't need to satisfy any regs.
