My garage is single brick construction with next doors' garden about 2ft up against one wall and that side is normally damp. I am thinking of laying some sort of plastic tile on the floor to keep things dry. Any suggestions please. Phil.

I'm looking at ways to lift things off the concrete floor and thought of plastic as they won't rot.

There's a twisted logic there I guess, it begs the question though that (assuming things were separated from the damp floor) is the atmosphere within the garage not going to cause damage to it's contents anyway?

It's a single garage that houses my motorbikes and general diy and car "stuff" I can't stop the dampness so any alternatives would be welcome.
