Could somebody recommend a DIY water proofing solution to a garage floor.
There is no DPM in the garage and after rain you can see damp areas. I am not converting the garage I just want to stop my things getting damp. I dont want to lay a plastic DPM over the slab if there is a paint available. I have looked at the black jack paint but this doesn't seem hard wearing enough.

Thanks for any help

Check out epoxy. I am not sure if it also acts as a DPM?
I painted my garage floor with "garage floor paint" and it's dry.
I carried it up a few bricks as a kind of skirting.
You could get red/blue/grey at the time, it's worn in a few places.

Obviously it doesn't stop water coming in through the door.
You can buy seals for that
