I'm looking to replace the old 5' tube lights in my garage with something a little more energy efficient... It's a double garage currently lit with two single tubes, and I'm looking to provide plenty of light, as I spend plenty of time or there!
What would folks suggest? LED strip lights?
Thank you in advance for your time.

Cooper Lighting crompack, also rebranded under Acel. Three light outputs, excellent fittings. Output shocks some!

LED strips are no more energy efficient than florescent tubes and they cost a lot more to replace when they fail. Things like low pressure sodium lights are more efficient but you wouldn't want that bright orange light.

Fact is you can't beat florescent tubes in a garage.

Indeed, where the aethetics allow, it's hard to beat flouro tubes for cost effectiveness.
