Hi All,

i have a garage of 5.2 mtrs by 6.2 mtrs and want to plaster board the ceiling, can you give me some advice to what size boards type i should be using?

my first thought was to not skim boards and just screw up ? thoughts

what sort of board should i use? thickness ?

hi andy you can use a board 2.4 mts x 1.2 mts 12.5 mm thick would be grand you would need a hand to put it up and space screws about 400 mm apart hope this helps !!

extra supports,2x2 or decent battens,with a cross section like a T .
measure the height of the ceiling and add say 1 inch, lean these up close to where you are working so when you have the board in place you can then wedge these onto the board / to keep it there that way you can then safely work on the board screwing it up without struggling too much, ;)
