Garage Roof

I have a detached single garage with a flat roof, the wooden fascia is past its best and needs replacing.

I am wondering what to do at the top of the fascia where it disappears under the felt of the roof, will it be possible to remove the wooden fascia and replace it with UPVC or do I need to remove the felt from the roof to get at the top of the fascia.

You will probably have to remove the felt, the drip trims etc will be nailed to the top of facias.

Can with care be prised off but will never sit back down the same.
