Hi, I have just moved into a property with a separate garage. I would like to install a water tap in the garage however it would be easier to take the feed from the water supply before it enters the house i.e. between the meter and the stop tap in the kitchen. Is this possible - can it be done this way?

if your meter has a stopcock it will make it a simple job, turn off at the meter cut the pipe, insert a tee and connect your tap, should only take an hour plus any digging you have to do.

Thanks for your swift response. The meter does have a stop cock - hopefully should be a relatively easy job then.
