i dunno,wood,brick,plastic?

give us a clue on sizes?etc, depth&width.is it going to be a fixed pane of glass?

not bothered about the sizes at the moment i just want to know what to ask for to make a wooden window frame to take a pane of glass no openers . rebated or something else

well, you could use some 3x2 prepared and a bit of 1"x1 1/4 prepared or summit like that, screw the 4 bits together with some pva nail on the the baten (theres your rebate)install glass and do a putty bead, make sure you treat and prim all timber before fixing.

You just ask for the frame sections and cill! They come ready shaped - just cut to length, M&T the joints and your done.

Avoid trying to router the stock 4x2 softwood. It most likely will end up twisting all over the place
